Blunik & TimeOut Racing: Partnership Continues for the Dakar Classic 2027

Barcelona / Zurich, May 2026 — The collaboration between Blunik and TimeOut Racing continues: for the Dakar Classic 2027, TimeOut Racing will once again be Blunik's exclusive on-site partner in the bivouac. What started in 2026 is now being developed further based on the shared experience and customer feedback.
The combination of Blunik's high-precision chrono-systems for regularity rallies with TimeOut Racing's bivouac service expertise proved itself at the Dakar Classic 2026. Blunik customers had direct on-site access to spare parts, technical support and rapid assistance in the bivouac.
What is the Dakar Classic?
The Dakar Classic is a regularity and navigation rally held in parallel with the Dakar Rally every January in Saudi Arabia. Unlike the main rally, it is not about outright speed but about precision in maintaining prescribed target times. Only historic vehicles built before 2005 are eligible. The seventh edition runs from 1 to 15 January 2027.
Looking ahead to Dakar Classic 2027
The experiences from the Dakar Classic 2026 and feedback from our customers are now feeding into the further development of our joint service offering. New services will be available for the Dakar Classic 2027 — we will communicate the details as soon as they are confirmed.
One thing is already set: TimeOut Racing remains Blunik's exclusive on-site partner at the Dakar Classic 2027.
