What’s new in Dakar Classic 2026?

Dakar 2026 promises to be one for the books. From January 3 to 17, 2026, you’ll experience a newly designed route through Saudi Arabia:

• 13 stages plus a prologue, covering a total of 8,000 km

• Around 5,000 km of timed special stages

• Two new 48-hour “Refuge” marathon stages with no mechanic support

• Approximately 70% of the route is new, and no Empty Quarter this year

• Start and finish in Yanbu, rest day in Riyadh
